Blue Devils Recognized at Men’s Basketball Contest

DURHAM, N.C. — The 2024 Duke women’s soccer team and staff were recognized during the Duke men’s basketball contest over the weekend against Florida State inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Blue Devils were honored for their accomplishments during the 2024 season.  Duke is coming off the fifth NCAA College Cup appearance in program history, while claiming their fourth ACC regular season title with an impressive 9-0-1 record.  The Blue Devils earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history as well were ranked No. 1 in the nation the final four weeks of the regular season.

As a team, Duke garnered numerous individual honors including dominating the ACC end-of-the-season awards with Maggie Graham earning ACC Midfielder of the Year, Cameron Roller named ACC Defender of the Year, Leah Freeman tabbed ACC Goalkeeper of the Year and head coach Robbie Church garnering ACC Coach of the Year.  Graham, Freeman, Roller and Hannah Bebar were also named both All-American and Academic All-American. Graham went on to be a finalist for the Hermann Trophy for National Player of the Year.

Church concluded his 24-year career with the Blue Devils with one of the most impressive seasons in program history, while the staff were awarded for their efforts tabbed Region Coaching Staff of the Year.  He concluded his Duke career as the all-time winningest coach in Blue Devil history finishing with 311 wins.
