Chelsea transfer news LIVE - Marc Guehi offer, Liam Delap talks, Barcelona make Dani Olmo decision

Hello and welcome to the football.london blog dedicated to bringing you all the latest Chelsea news and transfer rumours!

Approaching a week since the winter transfer window opened, there has – as of yet – been little activity around Stamford Bridge but that hasn’t stopped transfer speculation starting to build. The Blues recalling summer signing Aaron Anselmino from his loan at Boca Juniors is the only piece of business confirmed so far, but there are expected to be more moves throughout the month.

Departures are seemingly the main focus at Cobham with a number of players expected to leave in the transfer window, either permanently or on a temporary basis. West Ham United are reportedly showing interest in Carney Chukwuemeka or Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, with Cesare Casadei and Ben Chilwell also linked with Stamford Bridge exits.

Aston Villa are also said to be keen on re-signing the former two-and-a-half years after Chelsea signed the player. However, there could be the possibility of one or two signings made.

More on Guehi and Chelsea’s hunt for a centre-back…

understands Marc Guehi remains on the club’s radar but any deal to sign the Chelsea academy product is unlikely to happen this month. Simply put, Palace will not entertain offers for the 24-year-old in January.

If they were to even consider a bid, it would have to be a mouth-watering sum. Newcastle United tried to sign Guehi last summer and had an offer believed to be around £65million turned down for the England defender.Guehi is not the only centre-back the Blues have an interest in, with a Sporting CP duo also being looked at. Goncalo Inacio and Ousmane Diomande are two defenders Chelsea have been interested in over past transfer windows, understands.Again, though, any deal for either defender this month would surely cost the club too much in transfer fees – meaning the summer is more likely for any possible move.

Juventus ace offered to United, Chelsea and Tottenham!

According to TEAMtalk, United, Chelsea and Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. The report states that the 24-year-old striker is expected to leave Turin this month with just 18 months remaining on his contract.

Vlahovic, who sees his contract at the Allianz Arena expire in June 2026, has featured 16 times for the Old Lady in the Serie A this season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. Playing a key role in Thiago Motta’s team, he has helped Juventus climb to fifth in the table, and they remain unbeaten.According to TransferMarkt, the Serbian international currently has a market value of €60m (£49.8m) – which is already quite the discount on the €80m (£66.4m) that the Italian giants paid for him in January 2022…
