Five LSU Tigers Selected In Newest Four-Round Mock Draft

The LSU Tigers are prepared to send the newest members of NFLSU to the league in April.

LSU has always been known to produce some of the best NFL talent, but over the past six years or so, they’ve taken it to another level. Guys like Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr. and Derek Stingley run the league, and I think it would be hard to argue anyone has more top-end talent in the NFL than the Tigers. Now, they’re ready to send even more talent to the league.

Athlon Sports’ Luke Easterling has released his newest four-round mock draft. The NFL Combine is over, so we have a pretty good idea where every prospect stands, but things can still shift with free agency on the horizon.

In Easterling’s newest mock, he has five former LSU Tigers going in the first four rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, so let’s take a look at where he thinks they will land. Will Campbell is viewed by many as the best offensive line prospect in this year’s class. The three-year starter for LSU is one of the best pass protecters in the class, but his arm length has become a concern for some teams who are in need of a tackle.

The Patriots at four are a popular landing spot for Campbell in early mock drafts, but I’ve seen him go anywhere from 4-10. Easterling believes he will slide a bit and end up in Chicago at pick 10, where he’ll be tasked with protecting the Bears franchise quarterback, Caleb Williams.

Mason Taylor would be the first tight end off the board in a lot of drafts, but this year’s class is loaded with tight end talent. Tyler Warren from Penn State and Colston Loveland from Michigan are viewed as potential first-round talents, but Mason Taylor has been making up ground in the pre-draft process.

With strong Senior Bowl and NFL Combine performances, Taylor has inserted himself in potential first-round conversations, but in all likelihood, he’ll end up going in the second round, which is where Easterling has him. In this mock, he lands with the Denver Broncos, where he’ll get to work with Sean Payton (who has always loved his tight ends) and second-year starter, Bo Nix.
