When Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Zinchenko or Riccardo Calafiori were injured, Jurrien Timber was the one who filled in on the left, right and sometimes even the centre-back position if necessary for Arsenal.
The prospect of Jurrien Timber playing as much as he is now is certainly not what the Gunners’ coaching staff wants because the risk is too great.
Fortunately, Jurrien Timber himself has a good physical foundation and temporary patch-ups like Thomas Partey are still playing well.
That said, we still hope that Arsenal’s defenders will return to full fitness soon to share the burden with Jurrien Timber and the whole team as soon as possible…!
