Manny Marin hits Tennessee baseball’s second walk-off grand slam in four games

Manny Marin bashed the second pitch he saw Saturday and Tennessee baseball did it again.

Marin obliterated a walk-off grand slam to left field to give the No. 1 Vols an 11-1 win against St. Bonaventure − and their second walk-off grand slam in the past four games.

“First pitch, I was taking,” Marin said. “It was a fastball. Just had a feeling the curveball was coming.”

Blake Grimmer hit a walk-off grand slam against Radford on Tuesday. Grimmer’s grand slam was Tennessee’s third of the game, which tied an NCAA record and set a program record. It also was UT’s second grand slam of the inning, which likewise tied an NCAA record and set a Tennessee record.
