Among the many NFL veterans presently playing for Notre Dame is Urlacher, the son of Hall of Fame linebacker and Chicago Bears great Brian Urlacher. He played in five games as a freshman and recorded a total of 12 tackles, one pass deflection, and one fumble recovery.
