Chelsea could agree multi-year deal after £60m reveal – Stefan Borson

Chelsea Edges Closer to Securing Lucrative Sponsorship DealChelsea FC is on the verge of agreeing to a multi-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deal, according to finance expert Stefan Borson.

In an exclusive interview with Football Insider, Borson revealed that the deal would not only provide a significant influx of cash for the London giants but also help alleviate their current financial pressures. The Blues have been navigating the new season without a primary shirt sponsor for the second consecutive year.

The expiration of their £40million deal with Infinite Athlete over the summer left a substantial gap in their revenue streams. However, sports business expert Lukasz Baczek reported on December 19 that Chelsea is in advanced talks with several companies, and a deal could be finalized within the next few weeks.According to sources, Stamford Bridge chiefs are anticipating a fee in the region of £20-25million. While this figure is lower than their previous deal, it would still provide a welcome boost to the club’s finances.

Moreover, Chelsea is reportedly set to sign a comprehensive sponsorship package worth up to £60million to sponsor both their men’s and women’s teams from the 2025-26 season onwards. However, this deal is contingent on the club qualifying for the Champions League this season.Securing a new sponsorship deal would be a significant coup for Chelsea, providing a much-needed injection of cash to support their ambitions on and off the pitch. With the January transfer window approaching, the additional revenue could also enable the club to make strategic signings to bolster their squad.
