Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of Nico Williams and would like to sign the player in January.

However any deal would likely require owner intervention due to the finances involved.

His release clause stands at €58m & when the size of his salary is factored in, it becomes even more difficult. A summer transfer is more plausible.
